KV ANTENNAS Verticals are ideal for expeditions, island activations, parks, etc., but nothing prevents them from being installed in fixed stations. With a robust and lightweight construction, the antennas are designed to allow quick installation without the use of tools through knob screws and butterfly screws. They have a robust and lightweight metal base with fixing stakes and can be installed directly on the ground and do not require the use of towers or masts. Wire radials (not included) are mandatory for the correct operation of the antenna. The verticals have an omnidirectional radiation pattern, that is, they transmit and receive signals from all directions (ideal condition for DXPETITIONS) and allow operation at high power up to 1.5 KW.

The KV ANTENAS Vertical Antennas are different from the most common models on the market, which are multiband with a single element and have medium to low performance, in addition to not allowing high power operation. We designed three different models to deliver greater performance in each band, allow high power operation and enable multiple operation with more than one transceiver and several operators in the same expedition.

• Model KV15-VP: Full size 1/4 wave vertical for 15 meters and has quick adjustment for 12 and 10 meters.

• Model KV20-VP: Full size 1/4 wave vertical for 20 meters and has quick adjustment to 17 meters.

• Model KV40-VP: Vertical 1/4 wave 60% size for 40 meters (with coil) and has quick adjustment for CW and SSB selection.

Note: Each antenna comes with the following kit:

• Telescopic vertical element (1.5 meter pieces);

• Painted metal base;

• Junction box with female UHF connector;

• Ground fixing stakes;

• Knob and butterfly screws.
